Hi, I'm Kay!
Setting up Rogha Coaching seemed a natural progression for me having spent 28 years working in private, public and third sector organisations, mainly in project management roles but with a common theme building in the background involving coaching and mentoring others. It started by delivering personal development training alongside my day job, becoming an Insights Discovery practitioner really ignited the passion in this area for me and the journey to this point had begun. 'Rogha' (pronounced row- gar) means 'options' or 'preference' in Gaelic and it seemed fitting for me to use this name for my business that is all about helping people understand their preferences and how to use them to their best advantage.
The next piece of the jig saw was completing the Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Development Programme and I am currently working towards the CMI Level 7 Accreditation, this has opened up more opportunity for me to work with individuals and make a difference to their development.
My past career has included developing products for both branded and retailer labels, managing projects, programmes and portfolios in financial services and developing change frameworks in NHS and charity organisations. I have been a hands on line manager and had the pleasure of seeing an number of team members flourish in the right developmental environment.
Outside of work I am a keen runner and triathlete, recently completing my second Ironman distance triathlon, which was the ultimate test of my drive to complete! It partners well with my other passion for coffee and cake. We love to travel and have been lucky enough to experience some great destinations over the years.
